Who am I? Thanks for your interest. Here is a story with pictures. Click on the first one, and read along.
A child who drew, a girl who drew, and an adult who started painting …
I colored comic books for several years (yes, as a JOB!), which actually taught me a lot about painting.
Lobo comic book page, colored by me. Yeah, for money. No, really!
I also did product design for Flora & Fauna, who cast my designs in brass and aluminum, as decorative and functional items.
I was always drawing and painting critters. They’re my favorite subjects.
I’ve done designs for fabric (used here for collars and leashes to raise money for Hope for Hounds).
I’ve designed greeting cards …
I’ve worked on custom graphics for use in print and on the web (this one was a giant vinyl wall-graphic for a trade show).
Logos have always been part of my portfolio, as well.
And of course pet portraits
I have had one partial semester of art classes. I am a college drop-out!
I have dabbled in various media …
This portrait was painted entirely digitally!
