Who can answer that? I’ll just stick to my art journey
From the time I could hold a crayon, I was drawing whatever caught my imagination. That was fun.
I taught myself some sign painting, did some graphics, dabbled in just about every medium I could. I did a few years in the ’90s coloring comic books (yes, as a job!), first on paper with paint and markers, then on to the new computer programs. I designed decorative products that were then cast in bronze and aluminum, and sold far and wide.
While continuing the more commercial work, I grew more focused on pet portraits. I concentrated on capturing the beloved details of dogs, cats and birds, many as memorials for their families.
After a break of a few years, I began turning my focus to improving my human portraiture. My style and the media I use have all developed in new directions. I’m excited again to begin to share my art with those who need the joy and love I hope it brings them.
