| "Show" Acrylic on canvas Xan Blackburn previous back to portrait gallery next Show's portrait was done as part of one of my occasional *Portrait Marathons. I love the satiny feel of Show's fur, and how you can see her skin's spots through it. *That's when I announce a first-come, first-served sign up, and paint small portraits of each pet as quickly as I can (not always that quickly!), until the alloted number has been reached or I run out of canvasses or time. There is always a donation made out of the proceeds for these marathons to a pet welfare organization I choose ahead of time. |
