| "Hubble" by Xan Blackburn Acrylic on canvas Hubble's portrait was done as part of one of my occasional *Portrait Marathons. Like an adorable alien in a very blingy collar, Hubble balances all that fluff on his muscular neck. I loved bringing out the lavendar tones in his skin, against the warm ochre in his ears and face. That little bit of tongue peeking out was just the cherry on top! *That's when I announce a first-come, first-served sign up, and paint small portraits of each pet as quickly as I can (not always that quickly!), until the alloted number has been reached or I run out of canvasses or time.
