| "Gus" by Xan Blackburn Acrylic on canvas Gus' portait was done as part of one of my occasional *Portrait Marathons. Guzzie, as his friends call him, has grown to an enormous jolly giant (an AKC greyhound), and this same goof-ball, wild man, in-your-face hilarity is all still there. Just much bigger. He's really big. I know this guy, he's been to my house. He's big! *That's when I announce a first-come, first-served sign up, and paint small portraits of each pet as quickly as I can (not always that quickly!), until the alloted number has been reached or I run out of canvasses or time.
