| "Emmet" by Xan Blackburn Acrylic on canvas Emmet's portrait was done as part of one of my occasional *Portrait Marathons. Emmet is a hairless Cornish Rex, and his translucent skin was an education (so that's what's under all that cat hair on other breeds!) I'd like to try painting him larger someday, to really capture that almost human skin (this painting is 5" x 5"). *That's when I announce a first-come, first-served sign up, and paint small portraits of each pet as quickly as I can (not always that quickly!), until the alloted number has been reached or I run out of canvasses or time.
