| "Cosmo" acrylic on canvas Xan Blackburn Cosmo's portait was done as part of one of my occasional *Portrait Marathons. Cosmo's person sent me a beautiful black and white photo as reference, and we decided to stick with the monochromatic look for this painting. I often use this technique for my underpainting, adding color almost like tinting a photograph, but keeping it like this was a neat change. *That's when I announce a first-come, first-served sign up, and paint small portraits of each pet as quickly as I can (not always that quickly!), until the alloted number has been reached or I run out of canvasses or time.
